이번 강의에서는 전치사 at과 over에서 대해서 배웠습니다. 문장속에서 많이 봤던 at과 over였던 것 같은데, 이렇게 하나 하나 다시 배우니 새로운 느낌입니다. at 같은 경우는 객체를 꼭 찝는 기본 개념이 문장속에서 화악 살아나는 의미여서, 이해하기 편했어요. over의 경우는 덮는 다는 의미가 기본 개념이긴 하지만, 확장되어 사용되는 의미는 at보다는 더 넓게 확장되어 사용되는 느낌이있구요. 원어민들은 왜 이상한지는 모르지만, 안쓰면 이상하다 라고 받아들이는 부분이라고 설명해주셨는데, 선생님의 그 설명이 약간은 신기하면서도, 언어가 가진 특성이겠거니 하는 생각도 들었어요. 사실 한국인에게 한국말이 그렇듯이 말이에요. 이제 완강이 얼마 남지 않았네요. 선생님도 저도 화이팅입니다! ※ at (공간적으로) 객체를 콕 찝는 → 시간적/논리적으로 확장 Dory smiled up at her parents.
